Question on bonus feats

Do humans get a bonus feat on top of the 3 given by your house rules?

P.S. I'm enjoying reading through your setting. And those are some handsome pdfs - what software did you use to make those? Just curious.


P.P.S. I recently started my first PbP, and the only part I'm not enjoying so far is editing the maps. I am using the Gimp editor under linux, and I just erase and repaint squares as I go. Ugly, but it is the fastest thing I have come up with so far.

Right you are! This was left over from when I had a shield build. I should probably drop it - using a shield doesn't really fit the swashbuckling theme very well, imo. Ever seen a pirate with a shield?

Ya got a point there. Mayhap I'll strap on my light shield^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hbuckler after all. But falchions are so darned cool! Oh well.

If I'm going one handed, I've got to consider getting proficiency with a rapier. I know it's non-optimal, but it's such a classy choice for a seafaring ne'er-do-well. Or sometimes-do-well. Oh, you know what I mean!

Talking about swashbuckling and rapiers has anyone seen the Mithrendain pdf on the WOTC website? It's the Eladrin/Fey home but for our purposes they have several powers for Fighters with light blades and good dex which "can be used by any fighters."

ps NT where did you find 3 feats in the house rules? I can only find 2 - PArt Fish and Born to Sail.

Oh, I saw this on the campaign handout page two "Having grown up in the Middle Reaches, all
characters may take two bonus feats". But yeah, it looks like he meant for us to take the two listed homebrew feats.

It seems I can't rub two neurons together today....

Nice! Thanks for the link. Seems WOTC is coming out with new powers all the time... I hope they collect them all in one place as a supplement somewhere.
