Austin Haarelsen. I think you posted something about my mother being the commen relative, so that will allow for the different last name. 5'9 207 lb 94.09 Kg for those on metric system. I figure he has been stuck on more on administrative duties and is just ichin' to get back ooout to the great outdoors and woop up on bandit arse! ... oops, forgot. Lawful good does not allow vindettas really ... I Guess i better move him to the roges gallery soon.

no, you did not kill the thread, and yes we in the colonies celebrate thanksgiving this week.

As for the thoughts on the post you made, that is a lot of stuff to consider . for starters, i figurwe we will stick with the may motehr and your fteher are sibling units, the marriage of Austins parents was an allience (minor) of merchant houses. that would explain the differing last names.

Minor merchant House Kalveten sought to form and alliance with House Harrelsen, hence your mother and my aunt (name?) married into House Harrelsen.
"Something" happened and a rift between the families occurred. This occurred about 8 years ago. (You were 16, I was 10).
Your parents died after that (we established that in game).

House Kalveten:
(Uncle) Thomas Kalveten, Head of House Kalveten, wife deceased in childbirth (Margery), never remarried. Recently injured by bandits.
Three sons (our cousins): Argos (eldest- set to take over the business), Darren (soldier posted off in some conflict area), Normec (priest of Solinar)
Two daughters: married off

Radigos Kalveten (my father, deceased when I was 9)
Karina Kalveten (my mother)
Sons: Gregory (deceased when I was 6, from disease), Amirad (me), Kydon (younger brother now 14)
Daughters: Angela

(Uncle) Pranon Kalveten – priest of Solinar, some position and reputation. Celibate

It was determined that I would assume a military role to replace my father.

I like having large families. Gives the DM more plot ideas. And me more motivation.

Snow? there's no snow on the ground here ... in missouri ... where it got to 50 degrrees today ... yaaawwwwn .... streeeeech ... wow, that sun sure looks nice.

the something that caused the rift, ... perhaps there was a customer that stopped dealing with House Kalveten, and started dealing with House Harrelson? A customer who had been with House Kalveten for several generations ... ?

YOu know what? I think we should keep it at we both a different opinions and surprise each other at some point . . .

I personally like possibilities like -- someone sleeping with someone else scandal, something to do with slave trade, suspicions of bribery and other fun issues, in fact at this point during the feud I'm sure there's many reasons Who knows what started it. Our grandfathers death? stealng customers, is one of many reasons the feud is . . . fueled.
