[Recruiting Fresh Again!] The Old School: 1e AD&D

Definitely Interested, although like Gary I haven't played 1e, just 2e so I'm not sure how different this edition is and whether I'd be more of a distraction than help.

If you'll help out a total noob:

1) Strength (3d6=6, 3d6=8, 3d6=13, 3d6=16, 3d6=9, 3d6=15)
2) Dexterity (3d6=10, 3d6=10, 3d6=15, 3d6=11, 3d6=15, 3d6=7)
3) Constitution (3d6=9, 3d6=14, 3d6=17, 3d6=11, 3d6=8, 3d6=14)
4) Intelligence (3d6=9, 3d6=12, 3d6=9, 3d6=5, 3d6=16, 3d6=10)
5) Wisdom (3d6=7, 3d6=14, 3d6=7, 3d6=6, 3d6=8, 3d6=16)
6) Charisma (3d6=5, 3d6=8, 3d6=12, 3d6=14, 3d6=12, 3d6=7)

So not too bad...

not bad at all! mostly like 2 ed, just fewer things like non weapon profs and weapon specialization. Not to mention that the onoy thing that i see is that there are 2ndary skills to roll for. otherwise the numbers all mean the same thing and damages are the same. game mech. is mostly the same.

renau1g . . . I notice we seem to be missing a player. Fellow playing Zhantain (a ranger with psionics) has been missing for awhile. It might be easiest to have you take him over. Just a suggestion. Wait for IVV's word on it either way (it's his game after all). He's probably the best one to help you out with anything.


as a note I am planning on running a 1e game myself too. (there is a thread up but I'm considering altering it substantially.)

You can definitely make your own guy, renau1g, or take over Zhantain. As a psionic ranger, he ain't bad. With those stats, though, you can keep that and finish up the character, too. Either way works.

As for a burial, I've never actually thought about that... I'll come up with something. I just have to consult the books.

Ok all, here it is...

I have been down with some diabetes complications for the last two weeks and am now geting better. As such I am needing to get caugt up on jobs in progress. On top of that I have got my self hooked into trying for a play.

What that means is iIam going to be working late (I hope) and if I get a part, I will be praticing for my part if I get one. It is for a local community theater, but one that prides itself in prfessionalism.I will still be active in pbp, but i amy be reducing to like a very serious once per day poswting frequency.

Just wanted togive a heads up.

I would guess that yes there is still space. As previously mentioned by IVV (I see no reason why this would have changed) you could take over Zhantain or make your own . . .

We actually havn't heard from IVV in a little while . . .
