Remembering Chairman Kaga

Although I never knew him, I remember when his widow posted here about his death. I wrote something on that thread, but I don't know if she ever read it or not, not that it matters.

Regardless, I'm married, have a 10 month old son (who's sitting in my lap as I type this one finger style) and I'm addicted to ENWorld. If anything ever happened to me it would be nice to know that I was remembered here as sweetly as everyone remembers Kaga (and Bjorn).

Here's to Kaga and his family and here's to ENWorld.

Love and peace,

Jay (and Rohan - 10 mths.)

Cardinal Sinister was Peter's (C_K's) best friend. He gives me occasional updates about his wife. Sadly, she still is not coping too well and has since moved back with her parents. No word on the child. I would definitely keep her in your prayers this Christmas season - which is probably just unbearable for her.

I too miss the Chairman...I wish it didn't take such a tragedy, but since his death I now count Cardinal Sinister amongst my friends.

I was just thinking about Peter "Chairman Kaga" just yesterday.

Thank God for family. (In this example, at least.)

Ah, the Chairman. Thanks for bringing this up, Doc. I've been thinking lately about him, and about why we drink to Bjorn. I've also been thinking about a dear friend who died of AIDS a few years back. It seems like the longer one lives, the more dead one has to toast.

Today is our 14th wedding anniversary, and we're going out for a fancy dinner. We'll be sure to raise a glass in honor of the chairman, his family, and Bjorn.

May they live on in our hearts and minds.
