Remnants of the Horde: In through the Back Way...

"Hu hu hu.. Steaks? Hu hu... Mooo!" Bargo grins and giggles. He checks over the mangled cow goop looking for mojo then waits for Durgo to lead on.

Competing for kills. It something Durgo had done with Ravarg countless times. Usually with elfies, but sometimes other things as well. Ravarg usually won. The Gulgathan would tolerate little comparison between the mighty Ravarg and Durgo's own bastard half-elfie son.

"Mephits! You know d'ese tunnels, you lead on. Show Durgo to shay-man Big-big. Er...shay-man what casts big mojo! Eh...?"

Durgo obviously appears at a loss for words, having no knowledge of magic whatsoever or how to go about conveying the image Captain Varn had entrusted to him so long ago on the bloody fields of Aruth. He scratches his thick, hairy chin and points at Kurg.

"You tell dem," he says, opening his arms wide as if magic were a thing to encompassed within them, "big mojo for Zuregath!"

Looking to the Mephits.....Perhaps the area where the Wizard performed his research...or summoning?...Maybe something is left that I can use.... Forlash thinks to himself...

The Mephits stop their shenannigans long enough to scratch their flaming heads, the magma ones dripping small droplets of molten stone to the floor, where it steamed as it did it's work. Finally shrugging, the lead mephit says (nervously) 'Cap'n, we don know them places. We's jus grunts, field support and messengers. We sorry...'
The beast makes a point to stay out of melee (even with the reach of the Ogres) as he speaks, just in case the bossman was angry.

The Salamanders, similarly, tell the same story. They are just troops from the field, although the Salamanders were more defensive in nature.

Kurg steps forwards 'Great Durgo. If the walking hamburgers were here, and unable to breach the door that you so mightily just ripped open, then they must have come from deeper in. Since they are invaders, somewhere ahead must be a way connecting to the Castle at large...no?'

The Gnoll lays his hands upon Durgo again, healing him once more...
<CLW for 9HP>.Durgo is now fully healed from the bastard Minotaur's blow.

"Darn. Bargo just have to keep killing stuff til somebody talk. Bargo so sad. Hu hu hu..."

Standing, Bargo continues down the hallway eagerly awaiting the next random passerby to cut down for no reason.

Durgo looks down at his loyal cohort, "Kurg is shay-man. You no can find uder shay-men? Or wizard use mojo?" He points at Forlash, again mystified by the intricacies of magic. Surely between the two of them they could find something so Big-big!

"Castle is big-big," he breathes, the air taking several seconds to escape his huge lungs, "Dis could take long time...time we no got."

But Durgo is already walking down the corridor beyond the minotaurs. No doubt some of his troops would be looting the corpses, but Durgo doesn't care. He's a Muragar on a mission. With luck, the Gates would be open by now and whatever enemies sent to these tunnels would be called back up to defend them, allowing his little (if Muragar could be called little) band more freedom in exploring the Castle's gargantuan breadth.

Looking at the large ogre as he walks off, Forlash replies Would that I could Captain, We will need to be much closer then we are before my magic will be able to find the Shamans center of power, as he would surely protect his magical areas from outside scrying...

Durgo shrugs, the explanation passing directly through his ears without managing to find purchase.

Moving through tunnels, he feels a strange urge scratch his leg with his Maul. So he does...

Down the tunnel (Forlash's innate Dwarven senses detect that you are descending slightly, though not so much that the others would notice) you go, the Muragar readying weapons behind, Durgo and Bargo at the front, with Kurg and Forlash in the middle.

After perhaps five minutes, the tunnel opens up into a large chamber, with three other tunnels opening off to the various sides.
Durgo knows this as a Marshalling area. No doubt the other tunnels lead to guard chambers or meeting Halls. Durgo has never been to this particular chamber (not that he'd know the difference, but he might think that he did...).

It is no small wonder that it is Bargo, whose much abused ears look all but vestigal, who hears the sound that heralds death for one of the Muragar and a most hirrid fate for another...

Bargo looks up from where he was sniffing at a blood stain on the stones to see a large figure move from one of the tunnels, an arrow the size of his own streaking out to catch a muragar in the chest, the Ogre instantly gasping and dropping, dead before he hit the ground...

A second Muragar also seemed to hear the threat's advance, for he hefted his greatsword, only to start a Snarl that ended in a meep as he was suddenly transformed into a tiny little mouse...

OoC:Bargo has a suprise action, there is a large shadowy figure perhaps 50 feet away, this one having just fired an arrow at thr Muragar Ogre (now dead).

Afterwards, Initiatives are as follows

Kurg 17
Bargo 11
Forlash 9
Durgo 4

You have no idea how many enemies there are or when they act.

Map...

Note the Muragar/mouse in space U-9 :D

edit:Ack, it doesn't show 'mouse', since I used a tiny font...he's in U-9. The writing to the right of Forlash says 'dead Muragar', so you know that the attack came from that diorection.
