I was wondering the same thing the first time I read the race description, though, I kinda lost the thought as I was a bit excited reading the rest of the book.
Now, thinking about it...
Raise Dead has a 30 days timer on it, so, I'd give them that time to get ressurrected, failing that, their soul leaves the body and starts the proccess of reincarnation, seeking a new host and all that stuff, along with the whole "new host must be about to die, and the timing must be right, so that transition won't bring any further issues/side effects, and is what Devas feel is right as they wouldn't take the life of someone, as that would be against their 'righteous' beliefs, etc". I'd probably also rule that, new body starts at level one, but that's just me...
