Return of Creature by Poll - Poll #23 (name of individual)

This is a companion to the "name the species" poll, this time for the individual creature (a la marut).

Multiple selections are allowed in hopes of breaking ties.

I prefer not to have a different name for the species and individual. Just don't see the point.

The reason for the different names is that we can (hopefully) expand the species in the future.

I think "species" and "individual" may be misinterpreted. By species, Shade more correctly means class. Demons, devils and yugoloths are all classes of outsiders, and this is a class of construct. By individual, he means something closer to the biological definition of species - a category within the class. Vrocks, quasits and balors all as species of demons, that sort of thing.

This is one of many types of infallibles, so it needs its own name.

Hang on. Do you mean that both Inevitables and this new creature would be part of a larger class of creatures - called whatever we come up with in poll #22?

Because that was *definitely* not how I understood it.

Maybe we need to restart these polls and clarify the issue. (May as well hold a separate poll to decide whether we *want* to lump inevitables and this new creature into a larger category...)

Oh no...I don't think any of us implied that.

Essentially at one level...inevitables, "anti-inevitables", slaad, demons, devils, etc.
At the individual level...marut, our creature's name, death slaad, goristro, hamatula, etc.

The only group inevitables and "anti-inevitables" belong to is the Outsider type.
