I never thought we said we'll bring the wood. That was a grab and run option if couldn't clear the woods. Let the woodcutter earn his pay. We might pick wrong tree, one too old or too dark or whatever

I took a look at Scout for Rogue. I like it. Quick question. It gives you free Survival and Nature.
Hindsight being 20/20 I probably wouldn't have gotten Survival at 1st level if I knew the details of Scout. I don't believe I ever used the skill. If I take Scout can I swap it so I don't "waste" a skill slot?

By RAW, when you gain training in a skill you're already trained in, you can pick any skill instead.

Hmm after some research I now find that rule under backgrounds.

Wish they had put that under skills, or proficiencies, or both.

Yeah, not super thrilled with how PHB handles skills as kind of an afterthought. They do an okay job of telling you how many you get, but the descriptions of what they are and what they mean are stuffed in a very in auspicious place in the middle of the book, with little to guide one there. And important little rules are scattered willy-nilly around.

I realize there's not as many as before, but they could still have had a better organizational system...or at least more intuitive placing.

- dagger still under equipment (needs to be removed plz)

- Insight should be +1
- net (from gnolls) not listed under gear
- GP should be 8 (bought manacles)
- plz add ensnaring stirke and speak with animals to prepared spells as these are oath spells (PHB pg 85)

Emmyr
- Second Wind should be 1d10+3
- No place to list disadvantage on stealth checks, maybe after chainmail listing in equipment?
something like Chainmail(DisAD: Stealth)
