Revised? Huh? I have to buy MORE stuff?!

OKay, I've been sort've away from Enworld for a while... What's this about a Revised edition? Huh?

Does this mean I'm going to have to buy MORE books? Does my 3e stuff not apply anymore? Have I spent over $2,000+ for no reason?

Maybe I'm panicing, but now I feel like the 2e people. Can people inform me on what's going on? I feel dumb, but I'm afraid all my stuff will become obsolete.

In a nutshell, nothing's going to become obsolete. They're making a few changes, but it'll still be recognisably 3E. There are already 2 or 3 threads on this subject.

Each book will be re-released with 320 pages for $30 each. They including the errata, adding new content and we guess incorporating some splatbook stuff. Join in and speculate, why don't you? It's the most fun we've had since before d20 was released in the first place.

On an additional note, its been confirmed that the SRD will be updated to reflect all the changes made on the same day the books are released. Given that, you should have no problem browsing through the SRD to see if the changes are enough to make you want to go out and buy the revised books.

I'm actually playing with 2 other systems also, but Heros is just fabtastical. THe math for chargen is a serious pain, but otherwise...
