Yes, the catalog's essentially complete. Sometimes we do add products that "sneak in" under the catalog but that's not what we currently have in mind here. There are no Realms products in the first trimester due to the particular quirks of our scheduling process--you will see several Realms products in 2008, just a little later in the year. (Wish it weren't that way, but sometimes the schedule is funny.) Don't read too much into it. We'll have plenty of great Realms stuff to talk about at the GenCon Realms seminar.

Seems the sky isn't falling after all, and that Dendar has to wait at least a little longer before she's allowed to swallow the sun and plunge the Realms into Eternal Night. Shar: Sucks to be you!

So there you have it from Rich Baker's secret code! "Yes, GenCon is fourth edition."

Everyone get ready!

They could come out with several realms books that have little to no game stats in them or are short life like adventures, specific tiles for the FR setting (unlikely) or Fantastic Locations (also unlikely).

Don't they have a compendium of FR history coming out this year that, (afaik) has no game stats?

Oh well...

I guess I should just be happy that at least that particular portion of the release schedule is free of the Realms.

Blech, don't remind me.

While Grand History of the Realms seems like a great book for a Realms fan to buy, it's rather lame that it's the ONLY source of Realms lore we have in 2007...and with no "crunch" in it either. Not that it should've had crunch material, but the fact that we had THREE hardcover adventures slammed into 2007 has pretty much lost us, what, THREE possible Realms-coverage books?

Let's see what those three books COULD'VE been:

Giants of Faerun (3E version of Giantcraft)
Jungles of Chult
The Cold Lands
Old Empires
The Hordelands
Faiths&Pantheons 2
The Creator Races
Artifacts of Faerun
Cosmology of Toril
Beyond Faerun
(224+page or more, should be Tome of Magic size, book on Zhakara, Maztica, Kara-Tur, and a little on Anchorome, Ossa, and the other Unknown Lands)

The list goes on in my head, but there's plenty of Realms coverage that needs to arrive
