just saw this today - fun stuff (even if the first 5 or so were kinda lame...)

regarding the http://scifi.pages.at/hackits/ one though... I could be wrong but it looks broken. I am on #11 (where it asks for 5 codes) and I get sent to another page after I figured them out, then I have to enter them without any spaces and it calculates another code for me, which I put in and it takes me to ... a page not found message. Is there something I am missing, or is it actually broken?

I had the same problem.....I just kept going back a page, entering the passwords again, getting the key (AGAIN!!!) and submitting until it finally accepted. I just figured that the server was busy with all of us "wannabe" hackers!!!! LOL

I'm still stumped at #15, although I found the referenced "John the Ripper," still looking for the "list" mentioned on the site.....

This is my first attempt at this stuff and I know next to nothing about Java or JavaScript. Did a search on unknown commands with JavaScript included and found most of my answers here.

Look forward to trying the other two tests when/if I complete this one.....

Sheesh!

Why is it always the simple things that trip me up?!? #3 was hard for me (took me almost 15 minutes) because I left the sign off... #8 took me, like, TWO WEEKS to think of, because it was SO SIMPLE! (Auuuuggghhh!!!) 9 & 10 were easy, by comparison! :D

I looked at 11, but haven't started work on it, yet. Sheesh, I felt STOOPID when I finally figured #8 out! :(
