Riddles

Words or sentences read aloud is incorrect.

Lyr - I'm appauled. Now how, exactly, is making me do the cooking fair? That calls for an answer. I believe you're referring to a person, no less than my good self. How's that?

Bhryn - Darkness?

To the other gentleman - Was Bhryn's guess of a heart correct? If not, I submit one of my own. A cathedral - or certainly a large, decorated with gold, stone building.

Can't resist trying to answer some more:

You can see nothing else
When you look in my face,
I will look you in the eye
And I will never lie.

Gene answers "truth," Jea answers "darkness" but Kat thinks "a mirror?" (and not just because she's female!)

I am the black child of a white father;
I give birth to tears of mourning in pupils that meet me,
And at once my birth I am dissolved into air

For this, "smoke from a candle?"

And to continue play, another riddle:

Clear as crystal, sapphire blue,
Green or brown or other hue,
Soft as silk, hard as stone,
Many are the forms it's known.
Too much is bad, too little, worse:
What is the answer to this verse?

It can be said:
To be gold is to be good;
To be stone is to be nothing;
To be glass is to be fragile;
To be cold is to be cruel.
Unmetaphored,

What Am I?

It is quite clearly a heart.

Gene and Jea ~ Neither truth nor Darkness are correct, yet Kat's guess comes close.

An added note, oh so tardy!

Lyrana~

Could you possibly mean Alantie? :P

Kat~

Uh... water?

Bhryn xx

Bhryn was getting terribly close. No sweetheart, it isn't you. Although you do have white feathers...

Keep guessing!

Lyr

Oh damn, Jea... We're having stew tonight. It looks like I'm back to cooking. The answer is Bhryn.
