Rock naga: Large and stone coloured, the rock naga lives near natural rock formations, to better there fighting chances. As soon as they get the chance they destroy the petrified victims as disguise there where abouts.

Combat: Strong but still lithe they only use it's Petrifying Gaze on small creatures, eating the rest over a long period. They like to use the bite poison no matter what opponent.

;)

Sidran: Very nice. Only one problem I can see, the HD modifier is of it should be +16 not +6, but it appears it is just a misstyping from your part. As a whole I like the Rock Naga very much, might even use one in a campaign sometime.

Ferret: Nice.

Later,

Thanks Ferret, Krishnath

Yeah...um mistyping that was it :P

I was also thinking of a few other types the Bone, the Fire, and the Sewer naga

The bone Naga being a Naga that has similarities to an Undead creature...and does some interesting Necromantic things I am working on the concept at this time. Fire Naga's I might skip though I am going to have a level of my current dungeon be like Moria from LotR FotR with the great pillars of fire, and all.

Rock naga's worked very well in the ruined buried city that my adventurers ran through last week. With only one of them being turned to stone...Since it isn't perminant you can get the players scarred and then show that all is well ( if they are very intelligent players like mine) The one who was turned was returned by a simple stone to flesh scroll found further on in the depths of the ruined city. I was thinking about doing a greater Rock Naga for something else I have planned for this dungeon ( I have a ancient dwarven Fortress deep in the heart of the world that in the days of old was overran by evil elves and a creature that turned the greater part of the dwarven garrison to stone I want to be able to describe that, and then throw the GR rock naga at the group :)

Sounds good, alternatly you could use a half-fiend dracolisk....

Hmmm... I have an Idea, A dragon whose breathweapon turns creatures to stone, nasty... <Insert Evil Laughter Here>

I definetly have to create that. :D

I have done that already. :) Threw it at my players a few weeks ago actually. Basically took a 3e dracolisk (from the ToH), removed a few powers, juggled some around, and made its breath weapon work like the gorgon's. But it was a line of energy rather than a cone of gas.

Nasty...

Any Ideas for SA's or SQ's for the Sewer Naga....Its an under urban dwelling variety that prays on the above street night life

Some suggestions for a Sewer Naga:

It could spit a nasty acid, or something that would transmit disease.

Stench (as per the troglodyte).

Immunity to gas/stench effects.

Telekinesis (to unlock doors and raise manhole covers).

Maybe it could use its tongue as a lockpick.

Slick (bonus to escape grapple checks and snares).

Freedom of Movement or something similar which allows it to wriggle unharmed through any subterranean carnivorous plant life.

Cheeck pouches, like the dark naga, for storing preciousss-s-s-s-ses.
