The ashigaru replies sharply to Michiba, "Hai Tsuruchi-sama, no one has come to inquire about the bandit, though he is quite the spectacle."

"Is there someplace we can take this man so we can interrogate him?" Michiba asks the guards.

"Hai Tsuruchi-sama, there is an empty house down the road," he gestures to it standing aside a tall plum tree, "if you need privacy lord, that should help yes?"

As they bring the bandit to the empty house, Kaiji asks him with an indiffferent look "The kami aid your cause as well? What do you mean? And whose tyrannny?"

The bandit grumbles as you lead him into the empty house, he replies to Kaiji, "The Kami will honor our just cause, to free us from the tyranny of the samurai caste, we will rock heaven itself with our justice, the Black Fan will be strong!"

"Who told you so? I don't think you can speak with the kami. Yet you call the rule of the samurai caste tyranny. Tell me, have you ever looked beyond the wall? The samurai are there to defend the people like you from the horrors that lie there. If you overthrow the samurai, who will defend you? The Black Fan? How did they earn your trust?"

Michiba will motion the two guards to come with the group. "Do you know this man? Is he from this villiage?

The guards follow, one speaks the other stays silent, "He is a local, a drunkard by all acounts by the name of Po, dissapeared a few weeks back, there have been others, just leaving town. Looks like they turned to a life of banditry, yes?"
