So, TWF, a feat that, at the cost of a slight penalty, lets you make more attacks, and thus deal more damage, that you can spread over more opponents, has been eliminated.

By the same token, Power Attack, a feat that, at the cost of a penalty of your chosing, let you deal a bit more damage, should be eliminated. Especially considering that, contrarily to TWF, Power Attack doesn't result in a greater odd of hitting some opponents (very high AC, concealed or invisible opponents). Sure, it can help more against high DR opponents -- but DR has been nerfed in 3.5. anyway.

Not at all. You had DR 50, now the higher you'll find is DR 15.

What was before a DR 20/+5 can now be a DR 10/magic -- in 3e words, a DR 10/+1. Going from DR 20/+5 to DR 10/+1 is what I call a nerfing, not a "made-harder-to-bypassing"...

Of course, it may be a good investment to have several weapons, such as an adamantine holy longsword and an axiomatic silver short sword, so as to be sure to bypass most DR. Which makes TWF all the most interesting. :p

Weapon finesse. I'm usually the guy playing the fighter with the frilly shirt and the rapier, but I'm not one to try and convince myself that it's the optimal choice to be playing.
 


Well, it is definatley getting difficult to choose. Rapid Shot is next for me..c'mon -2 to all attacks a round just to get another one (which is also -2)? By the time you get to your 3rd or 4th shot in the round, that extra -2 makes it pretty unlikely to score a hit at all.
