Roundabout Kick repeat?

Zhure

First Post
Can a Roundabout Kick user who makes an unarmed critical and gets an immediate second strike, which also criticals, gain another unarmed strike? And if that also criticals, does it continue to allow for another strike?

I'm sensing a smackdown brewing for monk/unarmed weaponmaster with improved critical and the right feats and some lucky rolls (especially a tattooed monk with a reroll ability).

edit - I meant Roundabout Kick and wrote "Circle Kick." I'm a sofa king

What version of circle kick are you reading? The circle kick that I'm reading is a non-feat that is essentially worthless. You forfeit all iterative attacks and flurry of blows to make a single attack which if it hits you make make one additional attack at the same attack bonus.

I goofed, I meant Roundabout Kick. I'll edit the above shortly.

Oriental Adventures, page 65

"Roundabout Kick [General]

You can follow up on a particularly powerful unarmed attack with a mighty kick, spinning in a complete circle before landing the kick.
Prerequisites: STR 15+, Power Attack, Improved Unarmed Strike
Benefit: If you strike a successful critical hit with an unarmed attack, you can immediately make an additional unarmed attack against the same oopnent as if you hadn't used your attack for the critical hit. You use the same attqacqk bonus that you used for the critical hit. For example, Bujiko can make three unarmed attacks in a round, at base attack bonuses of +9, +6, and +3. If she gets a critical hit on her second attack, she can make an additional attack using her +6 base attack bonus. She then makes her third attack (at +3) as normal."

Do you refer to the Roundabout Kick in OA?
Your description sounds like it (there's a completely different Circle Kick in S&F).

I think the OA Roundabout Kick is supposed to be limited to one use per round, as Cleave. In particular as the prerequisites makes it potentially available to a first level monk.
It does not say so in the text, however.

[Edit] I didn't see your clarification about you meaning the Roundabout Kick until after posting. [/Edit]

Yes, only one use of the feat per round is allowed by the description.

(Geez, when will WotC learn to write rules that people can understand and that will not need to be errated constantly.)
