D&D (2024) Rules that annoy you

On the flip side of first aid being too fast, so is dying.

If my heart stops, and you cast cure light wounds on me in the next two or three minutes, I should be able to be stable and alive without any brain damage.

Bleeding to death with a couple failed death saves is too fast. Like, losing consciousness? Sure. Being full on dead? Nah, make dying take longer, please.

Well, it is a bit dependent on how much you’re bleeding.

Yeah, people tend to die really fast in movies, so they die fast in D&D too. Plus, I think not having people die quickly in the game would make it so no one would bother to go and revive their friends until after the combat is over. That might make sense from a realism standpoint, but it isn't fun for the people who are twiddling their thumbs. Having to make a death save every round adds to the tension and tends to make your fellow players strive to get you back in the fight (or at least stop you from dying) more quickly.

Tasha’s is still valid of course
Yes, but for those of us using D&D Beyond, it may not remain valid. There's a bunch of unknown factors there - will they give us a choice of using the old character sheet vs the new, or will everyone be forced to use the new character sheet even if they don't buy the 2024 rules? Will any Legacy content be usable with the new character sheet? And so on.

Another mention of moving ASI to Background rather than having them floating.

I miss halfling subspecies.

Druids should be able to use spell slots to fuel wild shape
