Yikes, I almost forgot - the DVD you get from there is Region 2, which means that American DVD players can't play it as-is. However, you can go to www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdhacks.php to see if there's a hack to change or remove your player's region coding. With some players, it's just a code you enter with your remote, others you download it onto a CD and play it in your player. Hope this helps somebody.

This is a Feng Shui/d20 Modern/All Flesh Must Be Eaten game on film, and it's a tremendous amount of fun.

Actually, the reason I hunted it down was because I played in a game of All Flesh Must Be Eaten at Origins last year, and the guy had based the adventure and pre-gen characters on Versus. Watching the movie later, I was amused to see how quickly and dramatically our game had veered from the film.

Three DVD versions are being released R1 through Media Blaster/Tokyo Shock on July 29th:

all will feature English language & Japanese language w/ english subs, Anamorphic widescreen. They're all listed as 120 minutes, although the cheapest version is supposedly R-rated and the other 2 versions are unrated.

Dang, I may have to order that SE version. My copy has a featurette or two on it, but only the movie itself is actually subtitled. Phooey.

As for Versus, I'm merely surprised it's taking it this long to reach
the states. As it's been out on R2 DVD for ages, it's not one of
those freakish Icelandic cinema thingies.
