Post 478 describes the bunker. You have a couple options for proceeding.

 

[Boddynock]

The group is now in the dark hallway, lit by Eusebius' ring. The stonework is plain, but efficient, and looks quite old. Ahead of the party is a door, and another door was passed to the West. There are no more sounds.

"Banion, can you hear anything behind the door to the west?"

 

[Patlin]

Banion slides through the shadows to the western door. He listens carefully, reporting what he hears over the mindlink.

[Manzanita]

The Western door seems to be made of thick iron. No sounds emanate from within. The hinges (if there are any), must be located on the inside. There is no lock, but the door appears to be wider than the hallway. It may have been dropped in from above or slid in from the side. The only obvious way to open it would be to batter it down.

 

[SlagMortar]

We ought to hear anything coming through that door, and it will take forever to batter through. Is there anything handy to stop it up? Then let's move on to the next.

Beamer glances around the hall again to see if there is anything to impede someone coming through the door. He spots the heavy door, but it is probably not worth the effort. Also, convinced there are no hidden foes about, he calls Louie back over and slips him into a pocket for protection.

 

[Manzanita]

There is the smashed in door which used to protect the complex from entrance from the hut. It appeared to have been bashed down with a battering ram. It is currently off its hinges and on the floor.

"Looks like someone made our entrance for us. Shall we continue?" Juliana says.

She puts away her shield and flail, and draws her heavy flail.
