"Very well. We will approach. Please put down your weapons." calls the strangely accented voice.
A moment later, shapes begin to emerge from the dark doorway. The first is what appears to be a tall, thin human male, wearing nothing but a simply travelers outfit, unarmed.
Take a moment to look at the map, and place yourselves as you wish. State any action you plan to take. Several move figures will emerge, but I thought I'd freeze the action to make sure you were ready, and to not get ahead of things. I believe your only light is from Eusebius' ring, so it's pretty dark down where they are.

When the man says he will come forward to talk, Beamer gives a wishful glance at Boog and mouths 'mindlink'.
Beamer unloads and stows his crossbow in his backpack. He wears no other weapons and has only a few small pouches and a quiver on his belt. He does not direct any of his companions to stow their weapons, though he is comforted to realize that most of the group are equally effective with or without a weapon.
He moves to H4 and waits until the procession appears at an end. If they try to approach passed the pit, Beamer puts up a hand and says, "That's close enough for now," and adds with a sheepish smile, "You did try to kill us after all." He also watches for any newcomers who are wielding weapons.
Once everyone (on both sides) is ready:
"The little Idrag knows of your operation he did not tell me so that I would be able to conduct the negotiations without bias. While he has extensive connections throughout much of the area around Orussus and to the south, he must rely on the standard rumors and stories of merchants to learn what is going on in the north. He would like to tap into your organization's knowledge of this part of the world and in exchange can provide you with many things. What might you be in need of?"
OOC: Do they have a light source?

Boog retreated around the corner of the room, and renewed the mindlink with his companions. "Just what is Beamer up to?", he wondered privately to himself.[sblock=OoC: ]I understood Boog was up near the pit with his rope, not behind the door to the room. Regardless, he's headed to G5. 17/29 hps, 16/34 PPs. Boog will be looking to manifest Read Thoughts next round, provided violence does not break out.[/sblock]

Three more men, dressed and unarmed like the first, emerge from the darkness. They wear simple khaki tunic outfits, and wear yellow bandanas with strange symbols written on them. The four take up position opposite the pit. An ogre clad in hide armor then comes out carrying a great maul. It moves out to stand behind the others. It also wears a yellow bandana.

As Beamer feels the mindlink renewed, he sends to his companions, Well, they've gathered nicely. If this goes badly, I'll cast a glitterdust spell into the middle of them. Be ready.
Upon seeing the ogre, Beamer says outloud, "You can see we are no longer armed. We would appreciate if your large friend showed the same courtesy."
