I know we lost a number of horses in the big battle in S2, but I didn't track which was which well enough. I'm going to assume Eusebius lost his horse there as well. But he could keep up on foot. I'll assume he rides the wagon with Reinert, though, as that's much easier than walking.
It looks like the order, then, is Reinert's wagon in front, with Eusebius. Banion trotting alongside. Then Ogrin on his warpony. Then Raseriet & Beamer riding in back. That may not really be how you want to keep it long term, but I'll use it in this instance.
The trip through the Silverwoods is bumpy and confusing. The trees often arch over the trail, making it dark even during the day. At other times, the trail meanders through wide meadows, with beautiful flowers. Occationally the group must ford a stream, but nothing very deep or wide. Reinert seems to know the way well.
Reinert wears chain shirt armor and keeps a dagger strapped to his boot. His heavy crossbow and quiver of bolts are attached to the side of the seat in easy reach. His dwarven waraxe and small metal shield are under his seat. Rasereit sees the emblem of clan Ken on the shield. Ken is a clan from the Stonespike mountains, and Razh is not very familiar with them.
At one point, in a dark stretch, where the path pushes through a thick patch of tall ceders, Reinert's horses suddenly stop and bray. The thick branches significantly reduce visibility. No one can even see why the horses have balked, as their heads are largly invisible in the green needles. They try to back up, but seem somewhat stuck.
