D&D 5E Saltmarsh?

Anyone done a conversion ?

And by Saltmarsh, I mean U1, not the town proper. I would run U1 as it's own thing without the followup of U2/U3 (they never really floated my boat).

I don't have the book in front of me, but I'm thinking I might be able to do most of it on the fly if no-one has done the work...

There's a thread currently on Page 2 that Nebulous started that's all about a 5E Saltmarsh game. I don't know if he ended up actually "converting" it to 5E (or at least wrote down what he did to do so), but then again... there's so few monsters in U1 meant for combat that just using the 5E MM statblocks would probably be all you'd need should you need them.

That's what I was thinking. Sanblet (?) would probably be the biggest "issue". I ran it back in 3.0, but I used a document here for conversion. ITs been a bunch of years since I looked through the module closely.

Here's some play reports from when I ran my boys through the series.

Conversion was pretty easy and did on the fly. Mostly just by using the various NPC stats in the MM.
