And since I assume it's now my turn, I (Ellina) will drop the rapier and dagger, grab my bow, and try shooting an arrow at the guy in the spell-warding globe.

Advantage from being hidden balances out disadvantage from heavy winds, so it's a straight roll.

D20 roll: 12
Modifier: +10
Emboldening bond: +1

Total: 23.

(Holding onto Bardic Inspiration for now in case I start rolling singe digits again ... or if this doesn't hit, then I'll have an idea how badly I need it.)

If the 23 hits, straight damage is 7 (2 for the roll, +5). I'm not sure whether sneak attack from advantage applies if the advantage was negated. If sneak attack applies, that's an extra 35, for a total of 42.

Follow up with cunning action to hide again: 18 / 5 to hide, +10 modifier = 28. (*Advantage to hide from Cloak of Elvenkind; I forgot about that last time.)

Dexterity Save = 21.
Making up for that Nat 1 earlier.
Pass - 20 fire damage.

Sneak attack doesnt apply here - the advantage is canceled out by disadvantage, and there is no ally adjacent to the Gish.

From your hiding position in the strong winds, you take aim at the caster in his blue globe surrounded by duplicate copies of himself and fire. Your bolt flies true into one of the images... and then sails straight through!

He looks totally unfazed by your attack.

You duck back down and Hide.

Fighter; you're up next.

I would like to ask anyone who'd care to answer. "Is there any way that we can remove that barrier from the important-looking one?"

In that case, he gets up from prone, quickly puts out some small flames on his beard, and points his hand crossbow at the Gish, sending four bolts at him (3 with attack action, one with Crossbow Expert BA).

Attack 1: 2d20 (5, 12) + 15 = 20; Damage: 1d6 (6) + 8 = 14

Attack 2: 2d20 (4, 2) + 15, using Emboldening Bond on this one, + d4 (4) = 21; Damage 2: 1d6 (4) + 8 = 12

Attack 3: 2d20(12, 15) + 15 = 27; Damage: 1d6 (4) + 8 = 12

Attack 4: 2d20kl1 (12, 19) + 15 = 27; Damage 4: 1d6 (4) + 8 = 12

Got strangely consistent this time. Regardless, not knowing which will hit through armor and mirror image, I'll still try Pushing Attack as many times as I hit until it works. A DC 18 Strength save or be pushed 15 feet back, possibly out of the ship and into the void wind. Each adds a superiority die to damage, but I guess it's better to roll after confirming which hit and how many times I'll have to use it.

Taking aim, you fire at the figure on board the ship in his globe and his images, he makes no attempt to get out of the way, perhaps distracted by his constant motioning towards the crew.

Lets just do these attacks one at a time.

Your first attack hits. Do you wish to use a Sup dice on Pushing attack?
