D&D 5E Sample adventure to test 5E in high level (15th) play. Any takers?

So you want to teleport after the Bard teleports (and before he takes damage), taking the damage yourself.

It's permissible rules wise, and I know due to the forum we're doing the adventure in I need to be flexible with delays in reading and posting, but I cant help but shake the feeling that you're only taking the damage because you now know he failed his Con save (which happened after taking the damage).

@Seramus would you have interrupted the Bard and taken the Hit before he rolled his Con save if we were at the table (i.e before he took the damage)?

To be fair, at the table, someone may also have screamed "No, you dolt!" to me as I said I was taking the damage. But I can see the issue.

Yeah. Im prepared to be flexible due to the nature of the PBP method we're using, but it does feel a bit like it was a call made after the damage was taken and the save failed (so too late at the table).

If @Seramus tells me he would have stepped in before that save, then I'm happy to take him at his word and retcon the damage and dragons save and breath weapon.

I have no idea! For the sake of avoiding any kind of retcon, I would be happy to change my reaction to Rebuke the Violent against the Gish.

But speaking for the future, using Embolding Bond to protect incredibly important concentration spells is definitely a Good Thing(tm).

Rogue its your turn.

Then is the Fighter afterwards.

So, the Gith is still blurred, yes? I don't fancy attacking the dragon solo, and I can't reach the Gish, so I'm going to use three squares of movement (one being difficult terrain for going through someone else's square) to end up just east of the Fighter.

Attacking with the +3 shortsword, I rolled double 5s with a modifier of +13, so both rolls are 18. I'm guessing that's not good enough to hit, so I'll add 1d4 from the empowering bond, which gives me a 4, for a total attack roll of 22.

If that hits, my weapon damage is 5 + 8 = 13, plus 28 from sneak attack, for a total of 41 piercing.

I will then use my bonus action to disengage and, with my remaining four squares of movement, scamper to the deck on the eastern side of the southern raised platform, ending on the opposite side from the dragon. I can't hide on this round and won't be out of line of sight of the Gith anyway, but at least we won't all be clustered in nice dragon-breath formation.

At level 15 spellcasters would dominate.

Not many people play level15+.

Problems start around level 8 and start falling off a cliff around 13 imho.

You hit and ouch!

Done. His blur effect was knocked out of him by the Cleric.

Fighter?
