I agree. The Scotsman (and his wife) are hilarious. "I'm not FAT! I'm big boned!"

However, two others are really great.

The first is the one in which Aku tricks Jack to go into a cemetary where he manages to steal Jacks sword. In one of the best fight scenes I've every seen between a hero and his nemesis, the two fight (actually, it's Jack running for his life) as our hero tries to get his sword from Aku.

The other one I like is the one in which Jack finds out about a portal that is certain to take him back in time. After a number of "tests," he reaches the portal guarded by a... Guardian. Only one man will ever beat the Guardian enter the portal. The Guardian and Jack fight after Jack's already been told he's not ready. The Guardian beats Jack down and is about to kill him when the portal stays the Guardian's hand. Apparently Jack is destined to enter the portal... but not for a long time.

This is one of the best cartoons in years. It ranks up there with the best of the Batman and Superman cartoons. I'd buy the DVD... In fact, I'll buy it this weekend.

Samurai Jack justly won an emmy. It is one of the best things on TV. My mother, who never watches cartoons, and only watches stuff like Law and Order actually enjoyed watching an episode.

My favorites are the one where he has to take on the ravers, and the one where he fights the shadow ninja, in the guise of a light ninja. The fight had no lines, just eyes, black shapes and white shapes. It was really good. Also the one where jack learns to jump.

Aaron.

Actually, the episode that's starting right now is pretty cool.

It's the one where a scientist who's like a cross between Dexter & Prof. Frink makes a bunch of robots with armor so strong Jack can't cut through it without augmenting his strength.

I LOVE the way Jack takes out the final robot.

High five. C'mon. High five. ;)

As for my fave episodes, they're too numerous to mention. Heck, I was tempted (and still am) to run a campaign very much like Samurai Jack. It's one of the few shows that I try not to miss.

I've already made a small part of the show into my FR campaign. Using elements from the show and borrowing liberally from "Birth of Evil" saga and FR's own history of the world.
