I've never read the book, but I really enjoyed episode 1.I watched the first episode tonight. It isn't fast-paced, but I don't need it to be for this material. It has been quite a while since I read the source material, but goodness did I feel like I was reading it again.

I'm definitely planning on buying the book after this. I love Gaiman and if the first episode is any indication, this is right up my alley. With this, and with Paper Girls (on Amazon Prime) I am thinking I'll watch the show, and then read the material.
That's a great idea. Do you happen to know if there are any compilation books made? The first episode was a solid start. Very faithful. I liked it a lot.
@Maxperson You should definitely check out the comics at some point. Even just to see the original imagery for comparison.

This may be the most reprinted graphic novel of all time, no joke. Maybe Watchmen or Dark Knight Returns beats them on a one to one basis, but this is 10 (11 by some counts) volumes plus the Omnibuses. [edited to add that I've been reading them from the library, and they have many copies]That's a great idea. Do you happen to know if there are any compilation books made?
