Say a little prayer...

In my family's prayers.
Is he in the little rock children's hospital, I know you said you live around little rock. I'm from Batesville, AR myself. If he is at children's hospital you can at least know he is at a good hospital, but as a father myself, I know that doesn't help much with the worry you face.

Holy crap...I'm from Batesville originally!!! (Though I went to school in Cave City). I moved away in 1988 for good.

And to answer your question, he's at Conway Regional, where we live (not the hospital...the town..er...anyway).

His fever keeps falling, so it's a good chance he'll be coming home today.

Good to hear. I'm sure he will make a full recovery. Also good to hear you got out of this little town for good. You should come back sometime for a good game of d&d though.

Missed this yesterday but I am glad to hear your son is feeling better. I'm keeping your family in my thoughts and hoping he recovers quickly.

Actually, I always liked Batesville, and have many wonderful memories of growing up where I did. I miss it sometimes, and still have family there. I've not been there in several months because I'm still recovering from an accident in January. I used to be up there every other weekend or so, dj'ing parties and dances with Ben from KWOZ.

..And thanks for the invite. I may take you up on it sometime. Here's my email: dungeonmastercal@yahoo.com. Keep in touch!

Just a quick Connor update:

He's still in hospital. He's in fine spirits (except for the fact he has to still do the homework he's missed by being out of school). The fever, while not bad, is still hanging on. He's a really big kid for 11, so the doctors are putting him on adult dosages of antibiotics. With luck, he'll be able to come home today.

Thanks again to everyone!
