The doctor just came in and said "one more day". His fever is gone, but they want to make sure it stays gone one more day. He feels fine and is ready to go home, but is hacked off cuz his mom went to school and picked up his homework... LOL

I'm so glad to hear that things are working out well for you and Conner. I know he'd rather be home, and you rather he be home too, but it's better to be safe and stay the extra day. Hating the homework is agood sign that he's on the mend.

Well, the boy is still in hospital. The damned low grade fever won't go away. It came back up later in the afternoon, and hovers around 100 degrees. Which means he'll have to stay in again tomorrow night at this rate. Poor kid...all that's keeping him from going home is that. He was so upset this afternoon when they told him he had to stay again.

The worst part is, if by Saturday it's not stablized, they'll have to go back in via full incision and look for the cause.

Keep those prayers and good vibes coming, folks. I'm not being unrealistic; I know there are millions of kids worse off than mine. But they're not mine, y'know?
