In the SC (Spell Compendium), there is a 1st level Druid and Sorc/Wiz spell called Thunderhead. There seems to be some sort of error with this spell. If you go to the back of the book, where the class spell lists are, the little blurb of what the spell does does not match with what is in the actual spell descritpion. But the Druid and Sorc/Wiz spell blurbs also do not match.
So under the Druid spell list, it states...
Under the Sorc/Wiz spell list, is states...
The actual spell description seems to agree with the small description under the Sorc/Wiz spell list...
So basically I want to know, which is correct? 1 damage/round or 1d6 damage/round? Perhaps the Druid version is purposely stronger, since it is nature related? So a Sorc/Wiz casting this only does 1 damage/round, and a Druid casting it does 1d6 damage/round.
The other thing that really doesn't make sense is the fact that if it is only 1 point of damage, why have a Reflex save to NEGATE it? I mean, negating 1 point of damage? Seems so odd...
Another question I had, can you cast this spell more than once on the same target, and would the damage "stack"? Meaning, would they take damage from multiple clouds?
Does the fact that it follows the target unerringly (even if they are invis) make it "too good"? Does 1 point of damage per round make it "too weak"? Does 1d6 damage per round make it "too strong"?
Other things I should note, is that the range is Close (25ft +5ft/2 levels).
So under the Druid spell list, it states...
Thunderhead: Small lightning bolts deal 1d6 damage/round.
Under the Sorc/Wiz spell list, is states...
Thunderhead: Small lightning bolts deal 1 damage/round.

Thunderhead creates a small thundercloud over the subject's head. The cloud moves with the subject, following it unerringly even if he becomes invisible or leaves the region. In every round of the spell's duration, a minature bolt of lightning leaps from the thundercloud to strike the subject. Each bolt deals 1 point of electricity damage that is negated by a successful Reflex save.
