Scarred Lands: Ask the Sage [This keeps up, I'm gonna need a bigger notebook!]

I have a quick question. I am reading Foresaken, and I was wondering the status of the dark elf god? The one in the golum. Is there any news about him in any recent books?

*Excuse my late reply, new job and thus less time to spend on net*

Nalthalos is, as far as I know, still alive...if you call being trapped and slowly wasting away inside a copper golem living. But right now he's stuck and can't get back to his realm. All because he was so smart he left the doors locked and didn't bring the keys with him. ;)

So what is coming up for the Scarred Lands anyway? I'd love to see some more fiction, but fiction that is either a)Clearly in the past or b)Minor and personal as opposed to god ressurection or follows the suggested timeline of Echoes of the Past.

I'd also love to see some more PC friendly places to start off in. Some of the books out now are great adversary homes but a little dangerous for the PC's.

Of course I'd still like to see a Psions and Psychics splat book for the SL setting. Maybe after Hyperconscious comes out?

Relics & Rituals III anytime soon? (Or should that be V since we have Excaliber and Olympus?)

Doh! My new job, dumb me down. :p

At least I didn't say something very stupid like bone golem or spontateous one.

Joe,

Ask the other Joe. I honestly don't know what's coming other than a rumor of Lost Tribes of the Scarred Lands.

Well 24 hours later...it's the same deal I guess. Still looking for questions from folks. (And this time I'll try to get it right! ;) )

Hmm...Another bump perhaps...

And a question to generate more questions:

If you could change anything about the Scarred Lands, what would it be (It can also relate to a book or even something that has been lacking.)

Pages 9-12 of the Blood Bayou source book, I wished they never existed, something like that should be hinted at, not spelled out so clearly.

Heh.

Well, let's see.

Forsaken elves would still be forsaken elves and Jandaveos would still be That Which Abides.

Not only would the slarecian's still be a mystery, but there'd be no psionics altogether.

The elemental seals on the djinn cities would have stayed there. The thought came to mind, and this applies somewhat to the forsaken elves as well, that generally it's better to have things to do rather then places to go...

Generally, I could do without a slew of prestige classes. But at least one for Enkili, in light of how many exist for all the other gods - and even some demigods - would be nice.

The entire "the gods were born - then trapped away from Scarn for millenia on end" thing? Don't like it. Could do without it. While I'm on it, I also prefered the epochs existing in a bit more murk, as opposed to being given a firsthand account of by Oreme.

That the map to the Blood Sea would be fixed and given the proper, more appropriate distance.

There's likely a few more. But those are some of the big ones, with a smattering of minor ones.
