Scarred Lands: Ask the Sage.

I always thought the gods were more powerful than the titans? As in, even without Denev's help, they still would have won?

Or to put it another way - if we were to average the powers of the titans, and average the powers of the gods, and pit an "average" titan vs an "average" god, the god would win?

Did I oops somewhere?

Not necessarily 'oops" as the fact the gods rely on mortals. Titans don't. If a Titan destroys a huge chunk of a god's followers, then that god becomes diminish. So in that respect in a fight between a god and a titan, titans don't have the god's weakness. But if you're saying pit a god against a titan (there are no averages), I'd say the titan has an edge, but who can say if that give the edge to win.

It is up to interpretations but titans were obviously able to destroy gods, just not in a fair fight probably.

Gods can be (and have been) destroyed. None of the titans have (except for one, which really wasn't destroyed, but allowed to merge with Denev and lose it's individuality).

Well that's kind of the deal, titans truly can't die, they merely can be in such bad shape that coming back to life isn't quite the option it used to be.

so mr.nightfall.
would you recommend Burok Torn: city under siege? i'm thinking about picking up some of the scarred land books from the white wolf site.

Are there any good websites with fan created material for the remaining countries of ghelspad and the other continents?

Why did Scarred Lands really die?

It seems to me that many of the prestige classes in the white books are much more powerfull than core WOTC stuff (I refer you to favoured of mesos... or whatever it's called). What do you think?

Cheers,
Sammy
ps: I love scarred lands stuff. I bought it ALL when it went on sale... I mean ALL.
