Hi Dave, Mike. I'm the one playing the fighter, I've gone with half-orc. Am I gonna need to watch my back amongst the "little people" constantly as well?

Mike or Nightfall can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the attitude towards half-orcs in SL is general acceptance.admiralducksauce said:

Dieter: Like NLP said, dark elves and dwarves have been fighting for what I believe to have been since the end of the Divine War (150 years) I could be wrong BUT I'm reasonable sure THAT's when it happened. (Wish Jeff/Kub or Jim was here. Jim more so since he's the Dark Elf expert) So that's why I think you might want to watch your head and other parts.
As for the half-orc question...well understand orcs are considered titanspawn (though there SOME orcs that worship the gods, and thus gain divine status...usually the evil ones, Vangal and Belsameth bring fairly prominant with Chardun coming in a close second.) so they tend to be frowned on. Half orcs...are viewed with skeptism, BUT not outright hatred like the Dark Elf would feel, not to mention possible attacks. As long as the half orc DOESN'T provoke anyone, he's should be fine. Just don't expect the dwarves to have drinks with and treat him all chummy like. Course Mountain dwarves are FAR more pleasant than their Charduni brethren.
