What are your suggestions for good sci-fi computer/console games? On the XBox or GC, because I don't have a PS2. I'm also especially looking for any roleplaying sci-fi games.

I can't think of any Sci-Fi RPG's, but for your typical 4X strategic game, go to www.shrapnelgames.com and take a look at Space Empires IV Gold. The graphics are not as good as Master of Orion II, but the gameplay (IMO) is better. It's failry easy to modify game elements, so there are quite a few mods, some great, some fair. I recommend Devnull, which comes with the Gold CD.
