Gama World will not work cause its earth, plain and simple. Looking for a non earth setting. I have my reasons.
Oh, sorry. You know, you could combine two settings, using the rules from one, and the maps and fluff from another (slightly altered to fit the rules). Would that work? Maybe you could combine d20 Modern with Witchfire from Privateer Press, but push Witchfire into a post-apocalyptic future.

OK interesting, looking through the site and read the general summary. But can not tell if it's earth a different world. Did not see any mention on different spiecies/races, just factions.

Basicly, take any D&D world, advance 10,000 years. Add technomancy...

You have Modern Awakenings.

The basic world is called Creation. It is being developed to be as inobtrusive to adding new things as possible. The actual setting is about a 'modern' D&D world with a technology based in using magic as the universal power source. Weavegates provide all power, allowing technology to tap directly into a seemingly unlimited resource. Some things are easier than others with this kind of technology, of course...

I have about 10% of the source material I'm working on up so far. As the saying goes, this isn't my day job.

Ok so this game is what Ubarn Arcana should have been. Its also similar to Dragonstar without the space travel. How much "modern elements" will be in the game? Like I saw alot of firearms and weapons, plus medical items. Any other technological advance, like computers, transport (besides the gates) and tools?

Try this short story, based on the modern awakenings setting.

Also, the other stories on my site give other points of view as well.

Instead of posting the story here again, I'm just going to post a link:

"A Druid In The City" http://www.nutkinland.com/showthread.php?t=4168

"Hospital Ministry..." http://www.ancient-awakenings.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=5

"8.3 Minutes" http://www.ancient-awakenings.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=4

"Technomancy, 101" http://www.ancient-awakenings.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=3

These stories explain it better than I could.

I know you said that "the one in Poly a few issues back" won't work, but because of the criteria you used to discount it (no traveling between worlds) I suspect you might mean "Spelljammer: Shadow of the Spider Moon." Have you considered using "Iron Lords of Jupiter," from Poly 101? It's a d20 Modern mini-game, but a lot of the feats and stuff from it would work perfectly for a D&D game (if that's what you want) and you could pretty easily strip out the "Earthman comes to weird planet" angle if you had a mind to.

Yeah, I just got issue 101 toady/yesterday and read the article fully. Might do it that but still looking. This is close.

I just got tired or running game with typcal fantasy races and wanted to do something.
I tried running space travel games and could not get into the mood of doing advetures on different planets each game session, plus did not feel like doing the space travel and combat. Regular airtravel (skyships, jets, etc) and air combat one planet is ok.

Like I said earlier, more exotic, alien worldish. More close to Masters of the Universe type game but not with your elves, dwarves and what not.

BESM would be the best d20 system I can think of for doing an FF style game.. magic/tech and the associated Anime feel to it all.

Pretty much any FF game would be a breeze with BESM.

As for a Masters of the Universe game.. Nothing specific but taking bits from Star Wars, D&D and dragonstar you could get a pretty close Facsimile
