SciFi Channel: Season 10 is SG-1's last, Atlantis renewed

I suspect that one or more SG-1 actors will make a transition over to Atlantis on either a regular basis or a recurring role. Least I hope they do. There was talk somewhere of them working on a third SG series idea. I wonder if that's still on the boards and in the works.

I just hope they get something good to replace it. They need to fill that slot, after all, and SG:A and BS:G (I <3 acronyms) just won't cut it for a full night of sci fi. Oh I know! Friday Night Sci-fi Live! Or maybe they'll get the new Dr. Who season.
They're already slated to run the next season of Doctor Who. It's supposed to begin next month, although no specific date announced yet.

I hope they don't replace it with some cr*p like wrestling or Scare Tactics. I think SG-1 has had a good run, I miss RDA, and as much as I like Ben and Claudia, they're not enough to keep me watching the show. It would help if they didn't have Mitchell acting just like Crichton half the time, and just like O'Neill the other half. :\

That's what brought me back to the series, RDA's exit. Have never really liked the guy, for some reason.
Meh. RDA may not be Kurt Russell's O'Neil, he may always have a stale punchline waiting for me to roll my eyes until I can see backward, but like USS Defiant, the guy grows on me. So, yeah, when he left, you can actually see, hear, and feel a big void on the show. Not even a couple of Farscape actors and one of the Bridge's brothers combined can fill that void.

Still, a 10-year run is a remarkable achievement. If there is one redeeming factor for SCI-FI, is that they're giving notice to the production so they can go out with a big bang.

That's up to the actors, who after 10 years, would probably like something different for a change, kinda like we gamers like to play a different game than the ones we're playing over and over and over again.

This is SciFi, man. They will replace it with B Movies that were written by eight year olds, acted in by lower then B movie stars, and they won't understand what happened ("why did it fail?")

FOX & SciFi channel- both run by people with less intelligence then me (and that is pretty low, trust me).
