You mean they're taking taking scripts from this messageboards?

:p

Thats cold.

I think that the vast majority of the people around here are reasonably intelligent (not me, someone else ;) ) and could write better drek then the stuff they have made sense the death of Farscape.

Then why waste their time and talent here? Procrastinating much?

:] :] :]

I got out of touch with the show when I moved up to Canada and got my lame-ass not-Tivo that wouldn't find Stargate for me (Bell Canada -- the idiot digital recorder can't find shows, and I couldn't figure out when the newest episodes were on). So I more or less lost it.

I'm a bit sad that it's ending, but I do think it had a good long quality run. I think it's a nice happy ending for a solid show. It wasn't cancelled before its time. It wasn't cut off with important story arcs hugely unresolved (well, not yet, anyway). It went out and told a good fun story for a long time, weathering cast changes and budget changes and needed story changes with relative grace.

SG-1 as a TV show was on it's last legs already. RDA left. Shanks wants to leave again. Amanda Tapping wants to spend time with her new baby. And It's not like Teal'c and two Farscape actors can carry the show themselves, and most of the audience already tuned out apparently feeling it had jumped the shark.

I feel 95% certain a movie is the next in the works. That's what both the producers and actors said at ComicCon a month and a half ago.

Also:

Executive producer Robert Cooper "We look at this as an opportunity to move to the next level - DVDs, a feature film, special episodes... We don't view this as a negative".

The video of the actors talking about it:

Note that none of the actors are surprised at all by the cancellation...

So, we're going to have two different Stargate films in theaters? Oy, this is definitely going to confuse the mainstream.

It will be easy to tell them apart. One will be called "Stargate 2" while the other is called "Stargate SG-1: The Movie." seems simple enough to me. I don't see any potential for confusion. :)
