Scotley's and Leif's Constables of the 14th Ward [3.5E D&D] [OOC 02]

Scotley, seeing Helfdan's description of Alarion re-entering Lauralie Summerhome makes me remember something from 4E that I've been thinking about talking to you about adding to this game: Namely, that all characters are restored to full hp after an extended rest? Actually, considering the beat-downs we put on the constables now and then, we might sometimes require 2 or 3 days of downtime, I suppose. What say you?

It's cool with me if you want to just clear the slate once they get home on a regular basis. I don't think we should be quite so nice to them when they are in the field.

I kind of thought that tha sort of handwaving of precise healing during breaks in town was why the constables were expected to pay for a 'Health Plan'- specifically:

When in the field we need to depend on our own resources, but when we get back to town (or at a 'break in the action' for an in-town adventure segment), we can fast-forward through the exact details with a quick post or two, instead of exact tracking. Too bad RL health-care and insurance doesn't work that easily...

Mowgli: Glad you were amused! I try to take every opportunity to show a feudal knight is a barbarian when compared to more modern types! :)

As to the LOOT :D

Given Iggy's odd disdain for heavy armor and concern for appearances (jk, oh mighty DMs) the only item Alarion would like, aside from a potion or so, is the magical chain shirt. If it is useful to anyone else we can roll for it, I guess.

Wow, it looks like the retail value of our haul is over 100,000 gp!! How do you all normally divide up the Kewl Lewt? :D

In Leif's other game I added up the sale value of everything and we took an equal value share.

This is only HALF my game. I think the constables already had a system in place. Someone? Raul? Alarion? Darius?

REMINDER: Ahem! Iggy has nothing against heavy armor -- it's the powers that be in Lauralie Summerhome who don't want their constables walking around in full battle dress! They don't want their city looking like an armed camp. What is advisable to wear outside the city walls is an entirely different matter of course.

As you may have noticed we didn't get EXP figured this past weekend. I'll make another attempt tonight. Sorry for the delay. It is totally my fault as I told Leif I'd do it.
