Scrolls of Swift Spells

By the rules these scrolls would require a Standard Action to activate.

But Complete Adventurer introduces scrolls of several swift spells from that book, but they UI can´t seem to find any clarification on their activating times.

Is that a mistake or are these scrolls supposed to activate as a Satndard Action? (which would make most of them useless)

Nail is right: the general consensus seems to be that wands or scrolls (or anything that takes a standard action to use) are pretty poor choices for swift spells, since they will always take at least a standard action to activate.

I believe that swift spells in wands are still also Standard Actions.

I don't have my Rules Compendium with me (I believe the text there is even more clear as i the casting time or a standard action - whichever is longer) but. . .

Spell Compendium pg 4
“Activating a spell completion item, activating a spell trigger item, or drinking a potion is a standard action even if the spell from which the scroll, potion, or item is made can be cast a swift action.”
