The Marvel Rivals Timestream Adventure is coming out March 17. It will be the same softcover format as the Deadpool adventure from 2024.

Thank you so much for letting me know. I just pre-ordered it. 😀

I would love to see that. The current Star Wars RPG is solid, but there's no evidence they're ever going to do more than reprints. I spoke to Edge employees at Gen Con and asked directly, and they didn't even imply there was anything more in the works. Just told me about their reprint schedule.

I would rather see someone like Magnetic Press get the Star Wars license and bring it back using the d6 system. I don't mind the Genesys version, but the d6 game was easy to pick up for new players, and a blast to play.

So long as you can reasonably model mechanically the world of Star Wars and everything in it, I'm good with whatever company has the license.

FREE STAR WARS!

I admit when I first saw this thread, I misread it as a Star Wars/Marvel crossover, and am both bummed out and relieved at the same time this is not the case.

For what it is worth, the Star Trek/X-Men crossover was pretty good, so I would totally perk my ears up for a Star Wars/Marvel crossover.
It was an interesting novel. I remember Deanna Troi being floored by Xavier's abilities, and everyone noting a certain resemblance between the Professor and the Captain.

Disney would be capable of daring of a LEGO: Marvel-Star Wars crossover, or Fortnite: Marvel-Star Wars event. The funny part would be to recover "out-of-canon-now" characters and stories from "Legends".

You can just play the d6 version.

Well, yeah, of course. But it'd be nice to see a new stream of official books hit using the d6 system. Not to mention making the rules available again in print so others can purchase it (beyond the anniversary slip case that FFG released a while back). Honestly, a fusion of the concepts might also be interesting... particularly adapting talent tree concept to d6.

It used to model the world great when it was originally out for around 10-ish years. The Revised and Expanded rules from 1996 is what I use when I run d6 Star Wars these days, with some touchups found in the RE:UP book that fans made. The fan community for the game is excellent, but it would be nice to see official books released.
