The Marvel Multiverse RPG is getting an Avengers expansion. The YouTube channel Near Mint Collection revealed that Marvel plans to release an Avengers-themed expansion for its Marvel Mutlvierse RPG while previewing Marvel's May solicitations. The new hardcover book will feature many of Marvel's most popular superheroes, such as Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, the Hulk, and Iron Man, as well as several new mechanics and rulesets. The solicitations mentions rules for crafting iconic weapons like Captain America's shield or Thor's hammer Mjolnir, creating a headquarters similar to Avengers Tower, and rules for battling large groups of foes.

The Avengers expansion was written by Matt Forbeck, with a cover by Paco Medina and Jesus Aburtov.

Marvel Multiverse RPG has released one expansion to date, focused on the X-Men. A Spider-Verse expansion is due out for release next month.

The new rulebook will have 256 pages and cost $49.99.

I have run Marvel for at least a year by now. Run most of Cataclysm of Kang (I cut it short for my own sanity).

The system is good, if you are not worried about "balance". If you need everything clearly defined, this isn't your game. If you don't want to, as a GM, to make judgement calls about how a power could work.

But I love it. I've even made characters for it (which is saying something because I HATE character creation) Combat is a joy. There between actions and re-actions, combat sings.

I've even written some fan adventures for it: here

I feel like supers games need some wiggle room for creative power use. Balance is overrated.

I have about 5 months of comics in a stack on my night stand I need to hire a ghost reader to get through. I always do this, let them pile up then read them incessantly over a day or two. :ROFLMAO:

EDIT: I think todays the day I'm going to read and purge my unread pile. Too hungover to do anything that requires brainpower and too cold outside to leave the house.

Trying to find a copy for a while but couldn't. Pretty sure the pre-order on CMON sold out quick. My friend just found this site and I pre-ordered it for $36.97. Charged my debit card so I'm assuming it'll show up, from what I can tell the release date is 4/30/2025.
