Spider-Verse Expansion Coming For Marvel Roleplaying

The Marvel Multiverse Roleplaying Game announced an X-Men expansion earlier this year, and now designer Matt Forbeck has revealed that a Spider-Man supplement is joining the lineup in summer 2024. This book, called the Spider-Verse Expansion, allows you to create your own Spiderman, along with supporting characters like Uncle Ben and Aunt May, plus classic Spider-Man villains.

It's probably time for Marvel to take the Spider-ball back out of Dan Slott's hands. His direction for the franchise isn't sustainable unless the Spider-Man brand is going to mean something completely different than it has in the past.

I've been seriously considering stopping reading these comics for a while as I'm not a huge fan of direction they've gone in since they rebooted the ASM series as Vol 6. I got in at issue #1 on both titles thinking it'd be a fresh start but its more convoluted than ever. Not what I remember Spider-Man being.
