SG1: An Old Friend (Wik Judging)

ooc; just to be clear:

The Wizard motions Lorth to take position in front of the stairs and tries to herd the rest of the group down the hall and out of sight, still looking to Corran for his Mark to flash with power.

Corran looks down the stairs and draws his dagger. He then catches the look of urgency in the wizard's expression and smiles confidently as he concentrates on locating the small piece of onyx with the letter A on it.

ooc: activating least dragonmark of Finding (locate object as a level 1 caster).

ooc; Good to have you here, 'Claw!

The Wizard's almond eyes, despite the dangerous circumstances, are unwaveringly drawn to Corran's right temple, as Genithar awaits the magic of the incredible Tattoo to manifest.

[sblock=Genithar]After a few wrenching hearbeat, you think you hear someone talking downstairs in a dismissive tone, then continue apparently shuffling around.[/sblock]Corran's dragonmark flashes momentarily, a clear indication of its use. In his mind, he clearly sees the object Aldus describes---there, in the bedroom, the southwestern door.

His breath catching at the power of the mark is revealed, Genithar the air out slowly as the quietly tip toes over to Lorth and whispers in the shifters tufty pointed ear, "Coast Clear." and points to his own long auditory receptors, winking. Pointing down the stairs, he uses two fingers to show two legs spinning in the air and walking away.

Glancing to Mathew, the Wizard gathers the group around and whispers, "If we go through door, and must fight off mad Doggie, Cannith can heal? Balnibar opens lock with Corran who finds stone and gives to Mathew, Lorth and I, who ward off Doggie. Good?"

Lowering his red spectacles and packing them away in a pouch, Genithar's looks around at the group with keen nutmeg brown eyes, and asks with a smirk, 'Do any of you speak Elvish?'

Mathew readies his mace as he moves toward the group. "I can not heal living things, except warforged. Give me the stone and I will figure out how to use it. From what Aldus says it shouldn't be too hard. I do speak elvish, what are you thinking?

Raising an eyebrow at Mathew's mention of warforged as 'living things', the Wizard smirks as he responds in a whisper, 'Cannith's power is over constructs, such as Doggie, yes? If we hurt it, you can heal it?'

Turning to Lorth, Genithar queires, 'You can wrestle the beast to the ground? Perhaps, you should be primary though the door?

Shifting his intense gaze to encompass the entire group, the elf, his sword angled point down and away from the group, conintues in quick clipped words, 'Balnibar and Corran find stone and give to Mathew. We must be as quiet as possible, so one must shut the door after we go through, perhaps the Cannith.'

Balnibar quietly sidles up to Genithar and Matthew. "Perhaps Doggie can help us? If Doggie first heads downstairs, or stops a ruffian on the way up, we could slip into the bedroom and retrieve the stone. The bad guy would have to be the first thing Doggie sees, I figure..."

Lorth nods and relaxes when Genithar gives him the all clear. As requested he moves to the bedroom door and waits for the others to give him the signal to open it.
