Shackled City AP - Help my PC's avoid a TPK

Damn you Aberzanzorax, where were you last session when this was happening! Converting their friends to the dark side would have been cool also. Unfortunately I told the PC's that she had killed those people, not kidnapped them.

Did they see the bodies?

If so, were they recognizable?


She could have kidnapped them and killed people (then flayed...or flayed and then killed for more fun on her part) that were about their size.

Unless the pcs used heal checks to identify their friends bodies (or speak with dead), they'd be fooled by her ruse.


Imagine..thinking your friend is dead, only for him to later confront you and try to kill you for leaving him to die!
