Sharp Shooting vs. Imp Precise Shot FEATS??

I'd say fighters are more likely to take sharpshooter while rangers and rogues are more likely to take improved precise shot.

Archer Rangers are definitely more likely to take IPS, since they can get it for free.

Also, you have to keep NPCs in mind, too. Most of them are not destined to ever make it above 6th level, so taking that feat might make sense for them.

It's kinda like Sword and Fist's Dirty Fighting feat, which is almost never appropriate for PCs, but is great for low level grunts. Did it make it in 3.5E yet ?

Not just ANY 3rd level character can take imp toughness. +2 fort save can be a 1st lvl warrior type or a 6th lvl class with poor fort. Like Sharp shooter, toughness is intended for the low-level non-warrior types while imp toughness is intended for low level warriors or higher level characters.

I'm REALLY happy that they didn't make toughness a prereq. for imp toughness since ImpT is a decent feat to take at higher levels, and toughness is a pathetic feat that never should have made it to 3.5 untouched. I really expected it to look like imp toughness when I checked out 3.5.

Yup, rangers, dex fighters and Eldritch Knight-style casters will take imp precise shot, while str tanks (dex too low), rogues (BAB), and spellcasters (both) who do a lot of ranged touch will take sharpshooter.

I think it's a good division, and does a good job in providing alternatives to non-prototypical warriors. Isn't that what CW is about?
