As Temuro sees his opponent attack with the sword, he adopts the chain style, confident in his ability to dominate this round.

Temuro casually plucks the sword from Rathan’s hand and knocks him to the ground. “Rathan,” says the old judge, “this time it is you that has failed to recognize your opponent’s mastered style. Do try not to repeat your error. Point and Two Yen to Temuro.”

Four flags neutral.

"Bah... an unwise mistake.... but afterall I am only human and we all make mistakes....."

*Rathan lays into his stance and awaits his opponents next move... he can almost see his move comming as he sets into a prefect defence for it....*

2: The grasshopper lies facing the canyon; parts the throw of the river!

1: The chain sweeps next to the sea; fends off the cut of the bird!

Reluctantly, Temuro decides to keep up the Chain style, as the alternatives would be worse.

"Neither move has any particular strengths; weak attacks, adequate but irrelevant defenses, no synergy to speak of. Are you tired? Perhaps the fighters would wish to break for tea."

After a sip from his own cup, the judge continues. "Nonetheless, at least Temuro makes an attempt at movement and action, while Rathan just lies there. Point to Temuro."

One flag Temuro, three flags neutral.

Temuro’s Hand:
1: The tsunami assails the temple; leaps over the slash of the body!

2: The unicorn kicks the shrine; unrelentingly guards against the efforts of the storm!

3: The oak sings over the clouds; redirects the beauty of the body!

4: The northstar sweeps within the tombs; leaps over the descent of the feline!

5: The phoenix slashes through the waterfall; absorbs the edge of the maze!

Rathan’s Hand:
1: The kama sucker punches the pillars; shreds the chi of the horn!

2: The snake assaults the ruins; negates the touch of the ledge!

3: The crab annihilates the castle; reduces the energy of the star!

4: The chimera flips underneath the plain; dodges the rising of the mountain!

5: The chain stands before the peaks; shields against the beauty of the elements!

*Rathan uses the powerfull crab style to over-power his opponent...*

3: The crab annihilates the castle; reduces the energy of the star!

“Rathan’s attack is more powerful, but Temuro’s flows more naturally. As it is difficult to choose between them, I move on to environmental considerations, and note that Rathan makes better use of the time of day. Point to Rathan.”

Four flags neutral.
