As he tries to jump along with Rathan, Temuro's red armor begins to glow yellow and orange. He furiously strikes at his opponent, trying not to be pushed away.

 

[Ciaran]

The old judge rests his head in his hands. "Oh, Temuro, you foolish boy," he moans, "when will you learn? The phoenix is of fire, the rapids of water; do not combine the two! You have attempted the same maneuver in an earlier match, and failed abjectly. And to throw away your best remaining attack, which even includes the location of the match, as a mere auxiliary to your furious fists? Insanity!

"In any event," he continues in a calmer tone, "Rathan's own move is excellent; the stars move across the sky, as is their own nature, and cast this damp phoenix to the earth. Point to Rathan."

4: The blizzard beautifully breaks the island; averts the offensive of the horn!

5: The willow flies over the city; waves away the touch of the feline!

*Rathan summons the great and powerfull Holy Phoenix to torment his opponent.... turning the bushi's own creature aginst him.....*

Seeing the Phoenix coming over Rathan, Temuro whispers "How did that go? The two don't mix?" as he moves closer to the water sorrounding the atoll, seeking to strike Rathan as he closes in.

"While one can indeed punch while holding a dagger, it is better to stab or cut. In any event, Rathan has the stronger attack, using the holy nature of the phoenix to torment the hells themselves, and has defended against his opponent's blade.
