Shiba Temuro vs Rathan! (Ciaran the Omnipresent judging!)

*Rathan yet again goes to the dreaded snake style to try and slow his opponents progression......*

1: The snake splits the grotto; dominates the touch of the ledge while it sings in the midst of the violence of the bird!

2: The lizard sinuously decimates the badlands; removes the violence of the spring!

Adopting a stance similar to that of Rathan, but with slight differences, Temuro again attempts to overpower his opponent.

“Very strong moves,” the judge observes between sips of green tea. “Rathan combines a quick, powerful strike with a layered defense. Temuro’s defense is simpler, but it is paired with a powerful, twisting attack. Temuro, however, makes better use of synergy; the lizard is a sinuous beast, while Rathan’s snake sings but poorly; a hiss is scarcely a song. The lizard wends its way through this hole in the snake’s defense. Point to Temuro.”

Two flags Temuro, two flags neutral.

*Rathan calls apon his powerfull magic staff to hold his opponents advancement......*

2: The staff decimates the fountain; shields the roar of the river!

4: The phoenix drops by the pillars; parts the tempest of the fires!

Seeing his foe defends against watery attacks, Temuro decides to adopt the phoenix style again (after extensively checking the move for even the slightest drop of water ;)).

“Another interesting round,” the judge remarks. “Temuro uses fire, while Rathan employs water. Rathan’s attack is strong, though flawed: to decimate is to kill one in ten, or in more common usage, to destroy parts of a thing or to reduce a group in number; and how does one do such things to a single fountain? Temuro, for his part, scarcely attacks at all, but his defense is an aggressive one and his use of synergy is superior to his opponent’s: the phoenix is a creature of flame, and it is natural for such a being to master even the most furious tempest of fire. All in all, I find Temuro’s move more coherent and more attractive. Point to Temuro.”

Three flags Temuro, one flag neutral.

Temuro’s Hand:
1: The whip brutalizes the plain; parries the gaze of the sands!

2: The blizzard decimates the castle; shreds the assailment of the stone!

3: The scorpion spins with the shrine; fends off the rising of the reptile!

4: The grasshopper punches across the atoll; negates the gaze of the flower!

5: The rat carves the orchard; shields the chi of the ice!

Rathan’s Hand:
1: The west wind shatters the heavens; dominates the edge of the iron! *yen*

2: The manticore devours the swamp; dominates the beauty of the maze!

3: The weasel drifts within the tower; waves away the assailment of the rodent!

4: The lotus blossom swims on top of the glade as it prances atop Xiang-Xia Province; dodges the offensive of the pole!

5: The sword kicks next to the fountain; fends off the aggression of the iron!

*Rathan tries one last move to stop his opponents drive.. if this fails... he fears nothing will stop him..*

1: The west wind shatters the heavens; dominates the edge of the iron! *yen*

4: The grasshopper punches across the atoll; negates the gaze of the flower!

Finding no truly appropriate move to answer Rathan's attack, Temuro decides to adopt the grasshopper stance with a move appropriate for the surroundings.

“Halt!” cries the judge. “This is a duel of honor, Rathan, not an opportunity to crush your opponent’s bones. Point and Yen to Rathan.”

Two flags neutral, two flags Temuro.
