I am a 2nd lvl clerik and a 3rd lvl sors. Next lvl I am taking clerik and i was wondering which would be better... Casting Bull strength and bears endurance on myself( other than weakening my opponents, i only do a max of 1d8(pathetic i know)) so i can actually cause damage. Or cast it on the fighter of our group just to help him out?

From a pure numbers standpoint?

You're usually better off spending it on the Fighter. He does more damage to begin with, so the increased to-hit chance makes a larger difference. He's more likely to hit to begin with, so the increased damage makes a larger difference. Between the two....

You're going for MT? Get Scorching Ray asap and stay out of melee!

Edit: Another possibility: You'll be 6th level. Get a Reserve Feat like Fiery Burst or Acid Thingy and blast away from a distance.

Too low of a lvl to do any real damage. As in my spells are terrible

You could always ask your dm if it´s ok to roll up a new character if you´re not happy with this character and try out something that you think its fun.

I don't recall if it is a 'real' rule, but I allow characters to change out 1 known spell when they gain a new caster level. The spell has to be of lower level than the character's new top level spell.

For instance, a 3rd level sorcerer has mage armor but finds it isn't the most effective spell so when he goes to 4th (allowing second level spells), he can change it out for something more suitable such as magic missile.

Sorcerers get to do this once every two levels from 4th onwards by the book. If you use the PHBII's retraining rules, swapping out spells known is one of the options.

With a cleric/sorcerer you definitely shouldn't be in the front line unless everyone else is worse at hand to hand than you are. I had a long player to player conversation with the gal in our group who's playing a 1/2ling thief. She was gripping that she didn't do much damage in combat. If you want to go toe to toe with the bad guys, play something with the appropriate skills.
