Signatures in the Playing the Game forum Part: 2 (PbP players please read)

I also have it set to show signatures all the time, because I think it's that useful.

Yeah, I had asked if selecting that option would disply the signatures even if they where turned off but no it will not. Just a little FYI.

Hm, so you could just turn off signatures, right? I don't think you'd miss them.

It doesn't surprise me that signatures wouldn't be shown if signatures were turned off, if I have it set to show them. If a person doesn't include his signature in one of his posts (ie, the 'Show your signature' box isn't checked), then I don't see them regardless. Even for my own signature.

I wouldn't miss the in one forum on this board but I would miss them in every other forum on this board. Including Talking the Talk and RG forum.

I wouldn't miss the in one forum on this board but I would miss them in every other forum on this board. Including Talking the Talk and RG forum.

Personally, I usually gloss over sigs. I sometimes read them and use a link on them, but it's pretty rare. In my games, I use them much more, though. I thought if you don't read them too often, it may be worthwhile to turn them off.

Nope this about them having little to no place in an IC thread when they are always OOC...

Long story short I will probably have them turned off as a test run for a month and see how people respond to a new poll.

Y'know, if you make enough polls, I'm sure eventually they'll say no to sigs.
