Thats an odd title, Serpents, Spiders, & Godlings. Since these are templates and they mostly of this theme or how does the title fit the book? You guys do great templates and Reynold's work always seem to be of good quality. So I'm looking forward to seeing these.

The title fits the theme of the templates. There are many templates based on mythology, arachnids (of various types) and, of course, serpents and serpent-like critters (such as the couatl). Does that help? :)

In best Cartman voice. "Sweet".

How many creatures per template? Will there be advice on using multiple templates as there was in the Deluxe Book of Templates? If the Deluxe Book of Templates makes it to a print version, will these be included? (Hoping that your Races book, now that it's reached its third one, will soon be coming to a printed version.)

I think there is one creature per template currently. There may be more by the time we go to press - not sure yet. If the Book of Templates: Deluxe Edition goes to print, these will most likely not be included. We have alternate plans for them :] However, expect some revision & expansion of the BoTDE.

Races was never supposed to go to print, however we have been approached about doing so and have seriously thought about a collected edition in print form ourselves. We shall see... :)

Cheers!

Does anyone know if he worked on Serpent Kingdoms? Perhaps there was just too much material that was meant for the book and it wound up as extras here?

Any way it goes, it looks like this material can be easily slotted, at least in part, with the Serpent book by Forgotten Realms.
